Your eyes set upon an interesting and perhaps quite unusual sight. Unagi is a naga-fox, a creature with vulpine and serpentine features. Her upper body is that of a young, well-developed foxgirl. Her fur is a deep orange color, covering her face and running down her shoulders, back and sides. Her front and the bottom of her muzzle has a supple coat of sleek, white fur to complement her features. Her snout is long and slender, and her large green eyes gaze back at you with a curious and slightly mischievious sparkle. She tosses her head slightly, causing her medium-length magenta ponytail to swing around over her shoulder, before she tosses it again to send it to her back once more.
As you look further down her body, you see that she's wearing a blue bikini-style top that hugs her generous curves quite well, yet hides just as much as it reveals. Around her waist is a blue sash, tied snugly to hide whatever features might be present there. Just below that, however, her body melds into that of a large snake. The fur slowly fades into blue-tinted scales, which cover her serpentine form all the way to the tip of her long, thick tail. Overall, she rises a comfortable six feet into the air, twenty feet or more of serpentine body coiled below, tapering from the thickness of her slim waist to a blunt tip at the end. As she moves around, you can see evidence of her strong muscles rippling through her lithe form, hinting at great flexibility and reflexes.
Unagi is well-trained in various types of dramatic performance, and she knows how to take advantage of her relatively unique body to achieve what most furs would find quite difficult to do. As such, she is commonly cast in various roles as some sort of mystic, sometimes evil, sometimes good. But she finds she's unhappy with being stereotyped as a mystic, since she has no magic abilities and does not follow in the traditions commonly believed to be held by nagas, whether they are at all true or not. She's friendly and very laid back, tending to stay on the sidelines and listen, or watch, while others carry on their conversations. Very little fazes her, and she's difficult to scare, often seeing things as challenges, rather than threats. She's very open-minded, but she tends to shy away from furs who want to seek long-term relationships with her.

Unagi is the result of a new interest spawned by a conversation I had with a local friend recently. My friend had mentioned that he knew an artist who drew nagas, and I recalled one of the characters from one of my favorite games, Chrono Trigger - a Naga-ette. I remember thinking that the concept of a naga was rather cool, and this conversation got me to thinking... so on a spur-of-the-moment whim, I created a naga-fox. This character is the result.
I'm still exploring this character - I think Unagi will provide some opportunities for some very interesting roleplaying. In addition, I was very pleased to get the above sketch by Max Blackrabbit - I've been trying to get a sketch from him for more than 3 years, and I was glad to see that I provided him with a bit of a challenge. Look for Unagi on SPR - she'll be happy to chat with you when she can. =)
