Kiefer the Skunk is a typical-looking skunk. He's about average height, has the usual fur pattern - black fur with white underbelly, white snout, chin, cheeks and neck, and a white doublstripe down his back and tail. He stands about five and a half feet tall, with a modestly athletic build. He nods pleasantly and flashes a friendly smile to anyone who looks his way. This skunk tends to walk around unclothed, but his thick fur does a plenty good job of keeping him modest.

Perhaps the one feature that stands out the most is his large, fluffy tail. It is about as long as he is tall, thick and supple, soft to the touch and quite flexible. The skunk seems to be quite proud of his tail - sometimes he'll hold it up high, while others he lets it droop or waves it lazily behind him. If you stand close enough to him, you can also catch a faint hint of his natural musk.

Kiefer is a fairly quiet fur. He tends to keep to himself, but always welcomes the company of a few close friends. He tends to shy away from large crowds, preferring small groups or one-to-one chats with friends. He'll never turn down the chance to make a new friend, and he will almost always go out of his way to help someone - whether that means showing them the ropes or providing a listening ear. Kiefer has dreams of glory, often of things that are out of his reach, and he is a hopeless romantic at heart. He often wishes to be something more than he is, but at the same time he will try to keep the status quo whenever possible.

Kiefer is my "personal furry", and as such he's a rather deep and multi-faceted character. He has several forms, but this form, the skunk, is the form that I roleplay the most often now. Still, on occasion, I'll switch to Kiefer's kangaroo or ferret form, since they tend to reflect different areas of my personality.

Among my reasons for choosing a skunk: I love skunks - I find them to be incredibly cute and fascinating creatures. They are also, on average, quite sedate and quiet, a trait that I feel matches my personality pretty well. I also felt that as a skunk, it would be easier and more rewarding to explore my more intellectual and romantic side - I've forged some friendships over the years that I don't think would have been as easy were I still a kangaroo. And finally, I admit to having a tail fetish. I absolutely LOVE big tails - that's why I made mine so big! :) Just imagine being able to curl that tail around someone... that's what it's all about.
